    These new economical freezers use only 1.54 kilowatts per hour in freezer mode. That means you can run 2 “Walkabout Freezers” for less power consumption than one shipping reefer 3 phase. Built with reconditioned stainless steel 20’ container body and single phase 240 volt quality refrigeration equipment. Hundreds in use all over Australasia & the Pacific.


    Power Supply

    Walkabout Freezers use the same 240 volt single phase power as your office or household appliances. They can be plugged directly to your power socket or run from a genset in remote areas. Ideal for immediate  freezer/chiller storage anywhere remote.


    Genset Option

    These units can be mounted on a truck converting it instantly to a mobile Freezer, and similarly on ships, etc.

    Available with new 3 cylinder diesel 9.5kva     Genset, sound proofed reliable, giving spare  capacity to run other equipment. The Genset is supplied as either a stand beside or built    in option. (Note: storage space is less due to Genset) - see pic above.

    Q2: Where will the condensing unit of the container cold storage be installed? Can the container door be closed?

    A2: We will reserve a certain space in the container for installing the condensing unit. In order to give the condensing unit a certain amount of space to dissipate heat, we recommend that the door of the container be kept open.
